A Short Biography of Dr. Hussam A. Fadhli
Sam Fadhli is an award-winning sculptor who has been creating bronze sculptures since 1985. He is a fellow of the American Professional Artists League, a member of the Allied Artists of America, Academic Artists Association and National Sculpture Society.
His experience as a surgeon and a horse breeder gave him a unique perspective from which he creates his art. His sculptures celebrate in Bronze the most noble creatures, the Man and the Horse. Among his many collectors throughout the world are Pres. and Mrs. George H. Bush, King Hassan of Morocco, the President of Usbekistan, Sidney Sheldon, Wayne Newton and many of other celebrities. His work can be found in permanent collections in public places and museums in the U.S. and abroad.
He was recently invited to represent American artists at the Biennial Art Exhibition in Florence, Italy. For his successful career as a heart surgeon and sculptor, Rice University in Houston, Texas, and the Arab American Educational Foundation selected him as one of ten most prominent Arab Americans. He was also selected as one of five (from approximately 8 million) to have his life story in the permanent collection of The Arab American Educational Museum in Detroit, Michigan.
Sam Fadhli has been painting since childhood and sculpting for more than twenty years.
